Taiwanese rebar prices stopped decreasing this week - 08 Sep, 2010
It is reported that Taiwan's domestic rebar prices stopped decreasing this week. The rebar price fallen from TWD 19,100 per tonne to TWD 18,500 per tonne in this week, in the beginning of this week, most rebar suppliers expected the rebar price might drop further.

However, since China's rebar price has risen by CNY 240 per tonne at Shanghai market. Several Taiwan's electric furnace mills have already closed this week's rebar allocation after released limited allocation to their buyers by TWD 18,500 per tonne offer price.

The market analyst said there is no reason to cause rebar price dropping further in Taiwan domestic market and they believed the rebar price will rise again soon.
